We’re proud to share that our school has received a $500 grant from Encorp Atlantic to support a community clean-up initiative!
Today, students participated in a school-wide outdoor clean-up, working together to care for our school grounds and surrounding community. This experience provided a meaningful opportunity for students to connect with the land through hands-on learning, grounded in Wabanaki perspectives—fostering respect, building relationships, and recognizing our shared responsibility to care for the environment.
Our students showed great enthusiasm and teamwork, and it was wonderful to see their pride in making a positive impact. To celebrate their efforts, students were treated to a well-deserved popsicle and juice box.
Thank you to Mme. Blunston and Mme. Bishop for organizing our day for us. Also, thank you to Encorp Atlantic for supporting this important work, and to our students for demonstrating such care and leadership in our community!
