Students have been learning a lot about Black History this month through our morning announcements on Teams, read alouds, songs and art.

Mrs. Parson’s class learned about the inventor of the traffic light, Garrett Morgan. The class then created a big traffic light as a class art project.
Mme. St. Peter’s class learned about an abstract artist named Alma Thomas. Inspired by her, they created their own art.
