The UNB Reds basketball teams are hosting an elementary day on Sunday, January 15th. Please see below a message from them for more information regarding how you can attend with your child. It is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon with your family! We thank UNB Reds for this great opportunity!
Elementary School Day – UNB REDS Basketball Sunday, January 15th, 2023 vs. the Cape Breton Capers – Women @ 2pm & Men @ 4pm – CURRIE CENTER
The UNB REDS are pleased to invite you to a REDS Basketball Elementary School Day: Sunday afternoon, January 15th at 2PM, where your UNB REDS Basketball Teams take on the Cape Breton Capers! Our student athletes truly appreciate these Elementary School events with all of the excitement that the kids bring to the games. This will be our 1st UNB REDS Basketball Elementary School event, where students and families from around the Fredericton/Oromocto area can come and cheer on the REDS. There will be no designated school sections. So, grab your family and friends and get ready for a great afternoon of basketball action!
1. Parents are responsible to pick up their child’s complimentary ticket and purchase their own, all-in person at the Aitken Centre box office, beginning Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023. Each student MUST have a game ticket. Regular ticket prices for REDS Basketball Double-Headers are $10 for Adults.
2. Parents/Guardians of students will receive half-price admission of $5.00 each, which will also be honored on game night at the Richard J. CURRIE CENTER box office. Although, parents are encouraged to pick up their tickets by 4PM on Friday, January 13th at the Aitken Centre box office. We cannot make these tickets available online, as they are only valid for Elementary School students & parents and the ticketing system is unable to differentiate either from other fans.
3. The Aitken Centre box office is open 10:00am to 4:30pm weekdays for ticket purchases
